sleeping on silk has many benefits, among them...

--naturally moisturizing! the fiber absorbs less moisture + perspiration, meaning less washing and less moisture loss from your skin + hair, keeping you hydrated
--smooth + healthy hair! the smooth surface creates less friction with skin + hair, potentially decreasing hair loss and damage
--anti-aging! contains a protein called sericin that encourages the production of collagen, strengthening the skin's barrier and is thus said to be anti-wrinkling
--temperature regulating! it retains heat in cold weather, and stays cool in warm weather
--less washing! has antimicrobial properties that require less washing (I recommend once a month)

suggested care ~

Hand wash or by machine using delicate or cold water cycle. Use cold water with a small amount of eco-friendly/pH neutral soap (woolite works just fine). Air dry. Store out of direct sunlight. I recommend washing no more than once a month to preserve the luster of the silk and vibrancy of color, as silk has antimicrobial properties that require less washing.

As with all color derived from nature, the color is 'alive' and will evolve over time, as it is sensitive to external elements such as pH and sunlight, so please follow these instructions for best results over time.

I do my best to portray the product accurately in the images you see here, but please note that there may be some slight variations from item to item due to the nature of the hand-dyed process using all natural materials.***
