Have a loved garment that is stained, discolored, or needs a refresh? A vintage or thrifted item that you want to update? Send it to me and I will bundle dye your clothes with botanical color (plants, bark, flowers, spices, etc)!

Renewing your clothing through natural dye is a great way to reduce your individual contribution to clothing and textile waste - both are increasingly huge contributors to the climate crisis. Develop a deeper connection and story with your well-loved clothes, items you can pass down from generation to generation, that take on new life and relationship with the natural world, and while closing the circle on waste.

*Technique will be bundle dyed* (see example images of this technique) and materials used will depend on season, availability, and type of garment. Bundle dyeing is great for covering stains, and for hiding new ones (coffee drinkers, I'm lookin' at you.) Dyes will show up differently on different fibers/fabrics, so please keep in mind your garment will be totally unique, and one-of-a-kind. One of the best parts of natural dyeing is embracing the unknown outcome.

Pricing is based on the size and weight of your item, so please choose from one of the below pricing groups. If you are unsure where your item falls, please reach out before purchasing. All items go through a 4-step process including pre-fixing the materials, to ensure the best longevity of color (scouring, mordanting, dyeing, washing). Fabric must be natural fiber content (cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, silk, wool) or at least primarily natural (ok to have small amounts of poly, etc), and light colors work best.

***3-4 weeks processing time from when I receive your garment*** You will receive address to ship your garment to after purchasing. Shipping charge on order will be for the return shipping.

Pricing groups:

GROUP A $40 (light/small) teeshirts, skirts, tanks, lightweight shorts, leggings, tote bags, standard pillow cases, small towels or other textiles

GROUP B $65 (mid size) dresses, long sleeve shirts, button downs, lightweight pants

GROUP C $90 (chunky/heavy) jeans, sweaters, sweatshirt, sweatpants, lightweight jacket

Group D $115 (heaviest) denim jacket, overalls, jumpsuit, bedsheet

Recommended garment care:

Hand wash or machine wash with cold water. Use a small amount of eco-friendly/pH neutral soap (woolite works just fine). Air dry and then store out of direct sunlight. I recommend washing as infrequently as possible to preserve the vibrancy of color.

As with all color derived from nature, the color is alive and will evolve over time, as it is sensitive to external elements such as pH and sunlight, so please follow these instructions for best results over time.

***Please contact me with any questions or concerns prior to purchase as I am unable to accept returns or exchanges.*** I do my best to portray the outcome accurately in the images you see here, but note that there may be some slight variations from item to item due to the nature of the hand-dyed process using all natural materials.

Lastly, the most important element in garment care is loving your garment and the plants that dyed it. I believe that through natural dyeing, we can reconnect with the land and life that surrounds us, allowing ourselves to be more conscious of our individual environmental impact, and seeing the value and continued potential in the materials that we wear and use.
